Mystery Donor Gives Millions to Universities
Edited on Wed Aug-26-09 10:03 AM by PLR_Writer
An extremely selfless act. What a beautiful soul:

"In each case, the college hears from a lawyer, banker or other middleman. There's a large check or checks from a law firm. And instructions: The money should go for scholarships and the school should make no effort to track down the donor."

edit: changed title to plural

1. That should last at most a month before someone figures it out.
You simply can't move that much money without someone who isn't legally bound to secrecy noticing it. And if you can, then that's a problem too.

2. If that happens, it will be interesting to watch
I don't think the person will be identified. People do anonymous donations all the time.

4. If it is moved through a law firm escrow account it can stay anonymous
Attorney-client privilege would be violated by disclosure.
