Need help to find stats on Jon Kyl's military service
I am attending a townhall event with Gabriel Giffords and realized that Sen Jon Kyl (R), my Senator, has held no townhall's regarding healthcare or immigration. Kyl represents Tucson, the border and 2-major military installations. Townhalls are being held throughout the Nation and John Kyl is the Minority Whip and been very vocal within the National media yet very absent with his constituents in Arizona. As I started reviewing his bio, he states military service yet offers no data of rank, time served, and where. Interesting as Arizona is home to active duty, thousands of retired veterans and a National Regional VA Center.

1. Going to Shadegg's town hall tonight.
Probably less friendly than Gabriel's. Although I'm sure there are plenty of teabaggers/birthers/deathers where you are.

2. You will search in vain
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jon_Kyl

According to this, he went from high school to university,to law school to a law firm without pausing to participate in the unpleasantness in Viet Nam.

4. The Bio you reviewed.
Do you have a link. In my searches, I can find no evidence of this. Thanks.

5. Googled Sen Jon Kyl (R) Arizona bio
Reviewed all and each entry reflected military service with nothing to support it. He may have been in ROTC while attending the UA thus received deferment and then never actually entered active service. But, why wouldn't he list it????
