"The Word according to Whoopi" is the latest standup show from Whoopi Goldberg in which she addresses such issues of the day such as certain racial slurs (read: "THE WORD"), aging and politics. This is a must see my friends..and has special impact in light of the IMUS debacle...

When a powerful person uses a slur to another powerful person, it's hilarious.

When a powerful person uses a slur to a less powerful person, it's an insult.

When a less powerful person uses a slur to a less powerful person, it's ironic and sarcastic.

When a less powerful person uses a slur to a more powerful person, it's suicide.

4. Great show to watch, especially now.
Whoopi made the point that words are just words. The problem is the intention of the word and to whom the word is intended towards.
