Didn't Rove have some sort of office set up in the WH during the 2004 election?
And some speculated that it might have been illegal, right?

Anyone remember that story?

Think it might be connected to the current scandal?

.... to the current White House e mail problems. Because the lap tops were
from the RNC and the account gwb43.com was connected to Samrtech ....
and Smartech handled the vote data in Ohio for Ken Blackwell because
his "servers" could not handle the volume on election day 2004 in Ohio.

Rove said that he had his own "special polls & people" so he knew that bush was going to
win despite all the data showing a Kerry Landslide.

7. and all that Diebold election machinery using smartcards
with wireless interface (at least that's how I see it) allowing uploads/downloads of voter totals from inside the precincts couldn't possibly be interefered with by the likes of Rove? After all, vote hacking was done using a simple Windows interface, no?

No wonder they have "lost" e-mails..wonder what the percentage of emails lost on legal govt. system as opposed to backchannel system is?

5. Here is a big one.

If they used RNC computers for the election shenanegans, they may not be protected by executive privilege either. That would be the only connection I can think of to this attorney scandal. RNC computers to avoid any record of what they did.
