I saw your message to your fellow democrats and I am offended that you would refer to your opponents in Congressman Grayson's district as "right wing “teabagger” hecklers". All we ask is equal time to express our concerns about the government getting into healthcare. What happened to free speech? I think its just a matter of cowardice. Grayson wants the easy way out, not having to answer the real concerns of his constituants. Right wing "teabaggers" are still his constituants. By the way to "teabag" is slang for hanging your testicles in someones face. I don't have testicles... Looks like Congressman Grason doesn't either.

Oh brother NO YOU DON'T.. you want to heckle and yell and scream.. I saw it first hand last night but you got to find out that you really aren't the "majority" that you imagine yourselves to be.The real cowards are people who go into meetings and try to out yell and out scream their neighbors who are ACTUALLY there to discuss the issue rationally.

As for the slang definition of teabag, I wasn't originally aware of what "teabagger" meant but that's not MY problem or MY fault - it was YOUR side that went around wearing teabags on their hats at their protests NOT mine and saying they were having "teabag" parties. I'm just calling your side by their own visual props and their own words. Sorry if your side didn't know the meaning of "teabag" when they decided to get cute with the props but again that's NOT my problem.

FYI: The government isn't "getting into healthcare" - they are stopping the insurance crooks from ripping the rest of us off.

And Grayson showed up and he definitely debated your side last night we just made sure your side wasn't able to heckle him and forced them to actually debate the issues - when your side has to stick to facts and not intimidation, then they always lose the argument.

7. The room maxed out at 125 people.

The first session was purely wall to wall Democrats - not everyone could get in and we had a second session just to let the teabaggers in to "talk" to Alan. We don't let them take the place over however and we still outnumbered them in the second session about 3 to 1 so everytime they tried to shout we shouted them down to shut up - one guy threw a temper tantrum and stormed out and we taunted hime by shouting BYE BYE!!! The rest of the teabagger types got the message, they oould debate Alan but no way were they gonna get away with shouting at him. I knew my years in a college marching band at all those ball games was gonna pay off some day! :rofl:

Well, no, they're not.

Free speech, as that dickwad is using it, and as they all use it, refers to the government - the government cannot stop you from speaking, provided your speech falls within the protected category.

When your fellow citizens shout you down because you're being obnoxious, that's them telling you to shut up, and it has nothing to do with the concept of Free Speech.

14. We flipped two Congressional seats out of four last November

and went from 1 to 3 to 3 to 1 in Metro Orlando. We also managed to gain back 2 state house seats in Orlando in the last 2 years and in Orange County we now have the R's outregistered by 60,000 votes (in a county with about 600,000 registered voters) thanks to last year and campaigns like Grayson, Kosmas, Obama, Randolph and Soto.
