1. Florida Sheriff Mike Scott
Mike Scott, the Florida Sheriff who last fall used Barack Obama's middle name at a campaign rally for Sarah Palin, reportedly "maintained a close friendship" with Dick Spence who "was convicted in 1995 in New York of laundering more than $100 million for the Colombian Cali Cartel":

Phone records and interviews reveal a tight personal bond, which branched into campaign involvement and possibly influence over personnel actions. A corruption investigation targeting the felon, Dick Spence, and his relationship with local law enforcement officials was under way earlier this year when Scott demoted, transferred or fired several deputies connected to it. * * * Records show that between October 2005 to August 2008, they talked 371 times. During his second campaign, from January 2008 and August 2008, the sheriff had 162 conversations with Spence. The conversations lasted anywhere from 1 minute to 94 minutes, sometimes as early as 5:40 a.m. and as late as midnight. There were days Spence was the first person the sheriff spoke to in the morning, and the last person he spoke to at night.

8. It's not joy - its relief. At least get your accusations straight.
And yes, I am relieved that he's gone. That's how I feel about most viscous cantankerous fuckheads when they finally leave this earth. I'm sad about the shitty life they lived, and relieved that their bile and rancor has finally left the earth.

It's not gloating or celebration. But I don't apologize for feeling relieved.

9. Buffy and Angel have been over for so long, Boreanaz has now...
officially become Seeley Booth to me.

Although it was difficult watching the first few seasons of Bones.

12. Go watch "Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang" from Torchwood season 2 episode 1, I think it was.
That'll give you your Marsters fix, at least, and he played that character in a very similar way to Spike.

And it's actually a decent show on top of that.

14. Sorry. It's new to me. Until 6 months ago, I hadn't seen a single episode.
Now I've seen them all and I'm pissed I missed the band wagon. This post was the only chance I had to jump on...years too late. *shrug* I think I should be forgiven and perhaps pitied. :)

15. You should be envied. Those episodes are fresh to you.
I loved that feeling of newness with both Buffy and Angel.

Be sure to watch them again and again. Joss knows how to make you feel and knows how to bring the funny.
