Barack Obama (D-IL) and actress Halle Berry as "Halfrican American(s)," stating that "Barack Obama has picked up another endorsement: Halfrican American actress Halle Berry." Limbaugh then said: " 'As a Halfrican American, I am honored to have Ms. Berry's support, as well as the support of other Halfrican Americans,' Obama said." Limbaugh then conceded that Obama "didn't say it."

Obama "is the son of a white mother from Kansas and a black father from Kenya." As Media Matters for America has noted, conservative talk radio host Brian Sussman has also characterized Obama as a "Halfrican." Sussman later issued an apology on his website, describing his comments about Obama as "insensitive."

7. Rush won't be fired

I work in broadcasting management and I can tell you for certain there is but one reason and one reason only that a network does something. Revenues. The bottom line is everything and ad revenues are almighty.

Rush has been making backward cracker-ass comments for years without losing the inbred, mouth breathing, Jesus and Murka lovin' right wing trash he attracts. Those kinds of comments just whip up the mob a little more. And if he draws criticism for it, they just eat it up all the more.

So, unless Limpbones' numbers go down enough to seriously bag his revenues, they won't get rid of him. Not if they are making money off him.
