Does Barack Obama enjoy confrontation and debate??
I think he might? He was looking for a skeptic at his last town hall. Now he is coming to Colorado and Montana and is asking that his supporters get behind him. He expects there to be some dissenters, it appears? But he seems to enjoy the fight over healthcare. He is not about to give up. He loves the debate. Kill your enemies with logic and reason. Make them scream "Uncle!". Do the right-wingers understand how much Obama is enjoying their stupidity?

1. It does not appear so, which is odd for a law professor? Excellent question though!

Barrack Obama was confrontational in his race against older African-American opponent Bobby Rush, and was paid back with voter resentment and a big loss. He appears to be going too far in the other direction, avoiding confrontation to achieve cooperation and consensus. During his time in the Illinois State Senate, Obama was careful not to rile "the establishment".

2. He seems
to enjoy it which is unusual for a President. Wish we had more elected officals like him.

4. No, I don't think he likes it. It's his absence from the debate that has got it out of control. nt

5. He wants to engage people in policy debates
I think he uses the debates to defuse false statements, dispel his detractors and even form his own policy.

He is unlike anything we have seen in the white house in the past.
