As dissappointed as I am with Harry Reid
I love listening to our local talking heads on talk radio lamenting about the fact that they have NO viable candidate to run against him in 2010, and how splintered the Republicans are here in Nevada.

In other local news, Reid's son, Rory, wants to run for Governor against Jim Gibbons. Not so sure about that one...

3. Why would they run anyone against him?
He is a perfect "Democrat."

4. These callers are crazy
"It's not enough to vote against Reid, Republicans have to hate him." His solution to motivating the Republican base.

5. For them, the only thing better than a Republican
is a Republican working for the Democrats.

especially when he is in as powerful a position as the Senate Majority Leader.

If they were to run someone against Harry Reid and that someone beats Reid, that guy will not be the Senate Majority Leader, because he will have to start as a freshman. So you can see how it is much better for the GOP to want to keep someone like Reid, with his power and seniority, in place.
