Has the barn door not only been left open but has the barn also been destroyed?
The level of insanity that has been encouraged by the republican leaders, radio hosts, pharma insurance corps in hopes of defeating the health care discussion, has it allowed the "fringy-est" of other wise big foot spotters to have a voice that is now considered sane by the right wing pundits. Or has it?

I believe that even the republicans realize that these people are down right crazy. They are using these willful morons a means to an end. Merely willful tools controlled by imaginary fears.

I do believe they have created a monster, they know it. But like any monster from any 1950's horror film, if the monsters will is kept under control, the monster gets pissed off and goes on a rampage.

I honestly believe, the republican who are manipulating the levers are currently losing control of their little creation.

Like a YouTube video that goes viral, I see the same thing happening with these nuts.

They are fed daily doses of talking point screed or told to make sure that there is no way the opposition can say a thing. To scream them down, to drown out discourse, to resort to thuggery, insults and use feigned panicked examples of fear to drown any discussion on health care.

But it won't end there.

Whether or not health care passes, the monster has been set loose on the small village and it seeks resolve.

I recall after moron* was appointed back in 2000, I never saw a bunch of people (moron* supporters) more angry about "winning" in my life. They were pissed off all the time. Why? I have never figured it out.

But we are seeing that same anger is on display today.

Are they angry because they know that deep down they are tools?

Angry that, maybe, just maybe, deep down they know what is right for the nation, yet like spoiled children, refuse to do what's right out of pride or saving face? I don't know.

But it's that root cause that is boiling to the surface in many ways.

I fear for tomorrow, not in the real sense but the metaphorical sense. What happens next? After health care? what will these morons be trained to use their energy for next?

If the health care reform in what ever form it takes, passes; look out.

There is still so much misplaced anger boiling below the surface. I fear it will be vented.

Palin the quitter now wants to "play nice" after basically egging them all on for the past several months since the election.

The daily stoking of the fire by the right wing talking heads.

This colossal misplace allegiance by these right wing foot soldiers is terrifying.

The right wing has effectively replaced patriotism with nationalism.

This.Will.Not.End.Well.

1. They always have been tools used by the GOP-proper ...
... the only problem now is that they take their directives more from Rush and Billo (formerly the propaganda arm of the GOP) than Michael (who??) Steele et al., and are very close to going out-of-control in their pissed off frenzy, much to the detriment of the entire country.

I still don't think they realize they've been played for 150 years, though.

2. Rush mush
Nobody with half a brain tied behind their back has ever listened to limbaugh. This is a diversion. The question is why Obama is reneging on yet another campaign pledge, this one regarding single payer? This bill isn't about reform, it's about a strengthening of the hold of the insurance industry middlemen on your access to health care.
Once again the media is trying to distract from the issues. This is the most propagandized society in history.
