National Enquirer: DNA proves Edwards is the daddy
(WARNING: UNNAMED SOURCES)

BOMBSHELL WORLD EXCLUSIVE! John Edwards has secretly undergone a DNA test - and it proves he's the father of his mistress' love child, The ENQUIRER has learned exclusively.

Multiple sources confirm the bombshell development, and reveal lawyers for the disgraced presidential candidate are privately hammering out child support payments with his former lover Rielle Hunter.

Edwards - who hotly denied he was the child's father when he publicly confessed his affair with Rielle on ABC's Nightline a year ago - has broken the news to his cancer-stricken wife Elizabeth, sources say.

But The ENQUIRER has also learned that Rielle testified against Edwards before a federal grand jury that's probing whether he broke campaign finance laws by secretly funneling money to her - and her testimony could send the former North Carolina senator to jail!

17. The NE busted Edwards in the first place
and TMZ managed to get the ONLY picture of Rihanna after her beating by Chris Brown. Other news sources had to credit them for using the photo. I've seen other celeb news pop up there first before media outlets picked them up, including the deaths of MJ, Billy Mays and Steve McNair. They're no slouches.

And now, a local news outlet IS picking up the story. It's probably because they knew the Enquirer was on it.

34. People always put the NE down but I don't
Remember that they pay for their News and there are a whole lot of
people that would tell them gossip for the $$$'s,

Are they wrong to pay for their stories?
They don't hide the fact that they do it and even encourage anyone to call them if they have a tip.

The "MSM' claims they don't pay for their news yet they sure got extra cozy with Bush ~ and still are in the pockets of big business.

21. Arguably true.
We should remember that the Enquirer has lied to far more people for far longer, for more profit, than has Edwards--but you make a good point. Since last year, I no longer reject their stories out of hand.

9. A "secret" DNA test? Like when the cops steal your cigarette butts out of the garbage
or peel the stamps off your letters? The Enquirer probably got the DNA through a private investigator and sent it to a lab themselves--THAT'S the secret!

23. As Far as I am Concerned
I don't regret for a minute I supported JRE for president--it was NEVER about Edwards, flaws and all; it was about the MESSAGE which is STILL being unheeded, even by our so-called Democratic leaders.

Edwards isn't the first person to fall prey to a sociopath.

31. "Edwards isn't the first person to fall prey to a sociopath."
Poor, poor John Edwards. This sociopath preyed on him, bewitched him, and forced him to copulate repeatedly with her. He couldn't help it, the poor man! It's definitely 100 percent the woman's fault, of course. As always.

32. He deserves to go to jail. He stole money from contributers to pay for road nookie
I remember watching one of the debates, Edwards was backstage and the camera was on him before he was introduced. He clearly didn't realize he was being photographed because he looked thoroughly annoyed - like someone had taken away his plate before he was done - but the moment the lights hit is face he instantly transformed into "aw shucks" Johnnie, humble working boy.

I thought to myself, this is the kind of guy who shows up to your barbecue on your anniversary, ask you for money in your own back yard and kicks your dog when you're not looking.
