Frustrated with the right wing HATE/PROPAGANDA machine? THIS is how you fight back!
Until Democrats and fair minded people begin to demand change and responsibility from the companies that support this hate, things will not change. The recent loss to Glenn Beck of many advertisers can be repeated and it might lead to a bit more civility in our national debate. It is long past time for Democratic leadership to formulate strategies to address the likes of Limbaugh and FOX News along these lines. Corporations that decide to support this type of programming with their advertising dollars MUST be made to pay a much higher price by being PUBLICLY and repeatedly linked to the lies, hate, racism and calls for violence on these shows.

Here is a list of companies that refused to advertise on Air America yet continue to advertise on the following shows.

Beck Radio
General Electric
Farmers Insurance
Office Depot

Beck TV
Farmers Insurance
General Electric
Nestle (Gerber)
Red Lobster*
State Farm (see update below)
Travelocity**
U.S. Postal Service
Wal-Mart
Wyeth

Dobbs Radio
Bayer
Chattem (Gold Bond)
Wyeth

Dobbs TV
Allstate***
Bayer
U.S. Postal Service
Wal-Mart

Limbaugh
Home Depot
JC Penney
Office Depot

4. Pull rank
I believe there are rules as to how much government agencies (and even semi-governmental ones like the Post Office) can engage in politics. Maybe Congress needs to ban where the USPS can advertise. Write to your Congressman and complain that the government is playing favorites. You know you are living in a capitalist fool's paradise when government monopolies (the Army, the Post Office, etc.) believe they have to advertise.

3. I missed the verb in your post
How do we fight back again? Limpballs has been on the air for 20 years. You think a few letters are going to do anything about Home Depot's endorsement of his ravings?
