2. I'm turning the Right's Bush era rhetoric against them

If you remember, during the Bush years their attitude was that free speech was a privilege that was only to be exercised carefully and on pins and needles, with the permission of those in power. And to make too stringent of a criticism of the government in a time of war was borderline treasonous and giving aid and comfort to the enemy (we are of course, still at war, BTW).

I would simply like our friends on the Right to remember all of that now that their people are not in power.
