Sen. Dodd: "The Bush/McCain Doctrine is not succeeding, it is failing."

http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalradar/2007/04/dodd_challenges.html

<snip>

In prepared remarks obtained by ABC News, the Connecticut Democrat challenges McCain, who has tied his White House hopes to a stay-the-course strategy in Iraq, saying, "No one questions Senator McCain's patriotism. He is a war hero and a friend. But, like the President, he is wrong."

Dodd will go on to say, in prepared remarks, "McCain's market visit makes clear the point many of us have made for some time. We don't need a surge of troops in Iraq - we need a surge of diplomacy. The Bush/McCain Doctrine is not succeeding, it is failing."

3. Over 40 soldiers dead already this month...will the death toll reach
Edited on Wed Apr-11-07 04:34 PM by Hubert Flottz
150 by May first? Escalation in Vietnam meant increasing numbers of dead Americans coming home in flag draped boxes. Escalation will mean the same thing in Iraq. The "Noble Cause" they die for now, is Bush and McCain's selfish PRIDE!

8. As far as I know
there are no repukes who preface their remarks about a collegue with such graciouness.

Dodd doesn't question mcainiac's patriotism and calls him a war hero before he tells him he's a fucking idiot which he is.

If mccain had an iota of sense in him he would read that and totally regret what he's become because of the bushits and whatever else made him a warwhore.

11. Here's a thought: the Bush/Giuliani strategy. McCain is yesterday's dental floss.
who cares about him?

why isn't St. Rudy being taken to task for his total support of the president's policy, as well as his BLAMING the SOLDIERS for the debacle that's ocurring?

huh?

Giuliani is the one to be most afraid

and I mean afraid

total fascist
