Conyers surprises Rove...releases documents

So, there was a little agreement with the House Judiciary Committee and Karl Rove in exchange for the latter's testimony. The agreement made the entire testimony process secret in a way I had have before seen. Karl Rove decided to violate that agreement in his tale to the press. I was wondering what - if anything - Rep John Conyers (D-MI) would do. Looks like Conyers pretty much just bitch slapped Rove by a surprise release of 600 pages of documents:

“After all the delay and despite all the obfuscation, lies and spin, this basic truth can no longer be denied: Karl Rove and his cohorts at the Bush White House were the driving force behind several of these firings, which were done for improper reasons
,” Judiciary Committee Chairman John Conyers (D-Mich.) said in a statement.

Conyers said he has sent the material to a special prosecutor, who is investigating the firings on behalf of the Justice Department.

Rove’s attorney Robert Luskin, who was surprised by the release of the deposition and other documents, said there was “absolutely no proof at all” of political interference in the decision to remove certain U.S. attorneys."

Surprise, surprise. This is what happens when you double dog dare someone as Rove did with Conyers.

6. A small victory unless the DOJ goes after Rove et al...
And that is the real problem.

If Rove gets a free pass on this, that sends an awfully poor message to Administrations who slip into the invincible presidency mindset.

42. How many "I don't recalls?" Damn, maybe none.
These are apparently evidentiary documents, not hearing transcripts. They are the evidence on which the hearings are based, and may contain some real bombshells. The only question is whether any reporters other than the Blogosphere Press will actually wade through and write up what they find. Look for nothing from the WaPo, for example.

Isn't that the expression that Rove used? Fair game.

7/10/05 What's Fair Game? by John Conyers
According to an earlier Newsweek report, Karl Rove was telling reporters that Wilson’s wife was “fair game.”

I love that these documents were released in apparent retaliation for Rove's running to the media in a shameless, self-serving bid to pre-spin the testimony.

Ha ha, you bloated bully boy, here's hoping you go down for that little caper.

So glad to know that outfits like RawStory and TPM are scouring the records as we speak. Already we find that Harriet Miers either doesn't know how to stonewall, or maybe she meant to throw K-K-K-Karl under the bus...

This is going to be fun!

51. Rove's friend CIA Foggo
Edited on Wed Aug-12-09 02:47 PM by XXXMADAM
In those transcripts I want to know if Rove was asked what his relationship is with now imprisoned CIA Foggo.

I recently called & snail mailed both, the investigative House & Senate Judiciary Committee's and explained the info below, I now want to know how serious these 'investigators' really are. Did they ask this very real and telling question re Rove & Foggo?????

1993:

Foggo and Cheney both lived in Dallas when Rove in Austin, Tx. became Bush Jr.'s campaign brain for Gov.,
Bush Sr. was running against B. Clinton. Both Bush's running for office made Texas politically charged as you can imagin, especially Houston where they both lived.

This is the same year DC madam Palfrey joined CIA Foggo while she was on federal parole for Extortion.

At least 3 of the 9 fired atty's were prosecuting FBI Sextortion cases.
Carol Lam in San Diego, Bogden in Vegas, and USDA in Maryland - http://www.yardbird.com/luna.htm.
The other DA's caseloads should be researched also for recent Sextortion cases they were prosecuting when fired.
Local media (archives) reports them as it's part of the extortion/revenge tool. Most are blacklisted, those that go along with the scheme, obedient.

This is the same year I myself was approached by FBI to Sextort Bill Clinton specifically via my escort service, Playboy Escorts, in Houston, Tx.

1993 Waco Davidians burned which brought all federal agency's to Waco where they camped out for 45 long days. ATF, FBI, CIA, military, etc... I was in mid federal court with ATF, FBI, who were involved in Waco, they left court for 45 days, returned with a grand sceme.
My escort phone lines were tapped, I had spoken with Stephanopolis, Isikoff, Globe mag., re the Gennifer Flowers/Clinton case.

I did not go along, I was viciously retaliated, and still msm blacklisted.

SEX SELLS!!! and makes the world go around ... and down!

While I dream of seeing Bush, Cheney, Rummy, Condi and crew all being handcuffed and marched off to hard labor in a North Korean labor camp, I could be consoled by seeing Rove marched off. He would undoubtedly have a good boyfriend in prison that would keep him squealing and might even wipe that silly smirk off his ugly mug.
