I'm liking Tamron Hall more and more
An ad for Tweety's Hardball show came on where he was bragging about "nailing" guests who he thought weren't telling the truth. Then Hall & Schuster's show came back on. It occurred to me how many times Hall stops some guests in their lying tracks to ask pointed questions and call them out without being snotty about it. She just gets after the truth of the matter and has been excellent over the health care issue.

Seems to me that she's found her stride and is coming into her own with this program. She's smart and can be funny. Anyhow, I enjoy this program a lot not only because of Schuster.

Keep it up, Tamron.

1. I am a big Tamron Hall fan. She does an excellent job and
doesn't take crap off of anyone. Neither of them do.

2. +1 Sad that we have to give her props for doing what they all should be doing
according to the basic rules and standards of journalism.

But, being the way things are, she does deserve props for not letting her guests get away with distortions or hyperbole.

6. Contessa slapped Joe Watkins silly today after he spouted RW BS on healthcare
Tamron and Contessa seem to have had cajones implants recently.

18. I saw that... but a few moments of clarity doen't make up for her persistant stupidity. did you see
her "interview" her brother and his two neighbors the other day? It was a waste of air-time. She's just so damn irritating.

4. I think they make an excellent team.
Neither of them tolerate filibustering or bullshit ... and keep a fact-based reality paramount. And they do it with good humor.

7. I wish they would replace Morning Shmo.
I don't want to get rid of Contessa. She's like a box of chocolates. She makes me angry one day, and then the next she is tearing a RW thugs head off. That's what's fun because they never know what is coming.

In addition, I DO NOT want to miss any more hurricane footage if she has to cover another one. Her getting her leg scratched in one instance, and then having problems with foliage another time were hilarious. sorry - but I can't find clips.

8. She's not too good at reading the prompter, though.
I've noticed she tends to stumble through sometimes, with an almost Palinesque cadence, placing accents in the wrong places. But I agree, I've seen her confront some BS artist more directly than I'd expect.

9. I dig Tamron
I dig her with Schuster.

And I've come to enjoy Contessa. She's evolved from her awkward period into a tough cookie.

11. I like her too. Slightly off topic, but I also liked Peter Slen stopping a tea baggers
dead in his tracks on Washington Journal yesterday morning. The tea bagger starts reading through the right wing talking points summary of the House bill where it lists a page number and makes some ridiculous summary of what the page says.

The guy listed off a couple and then says "page 29, medical care to be rationed" and starts going down the list. Peter tells him to stop there and read the part on page 29 about rationing. The guy says "wait, I want to finish going through all of the points first". Peter says "no, go to page 29 and read what it says about rationing." The guy goes silent and Peter ends the call. The self-satisfied look on Peter's face was priceless.

12. From someone who doesn't have
cable on purpose..I'm really glad to see there're people on there who call the facists on their shite.

I know how important it is to have a counterbalance to the inevitable mediawhoredom.
