How Do We Counter-act The Lies of Corporations That Are Bankrupting Our Nation?
Corporations and Special Interest groups have been making profits hand over fist over the past
century and more, in spite of the fact that they are sucking the life's blood out of our nation and
mostly at the expense of our Middle Class. The relatively few Super-Rich are doing extremely well,
even today, when so many Middle-Class are out of jobs and going through the worst financial crisis
of their lives.

How do these corporations (mostly GOP-owned) do it? They own the vast propaganda factories
that spew out mountains of lies, and there are millions of gullible Middle-Class people who
swallow these lies -- hook, line and sinker -- and are pro-GOP. In other words, many Middle-Class
people are SELF-DESTRUCTING, and they are not even aware that they are doing it!

Yes, the GOP has built up a monstrous propaganda machine over the years. They know its power, and
they know how to use it! And their consciences are not bothered by deceit and lies, because they
don't have a conscience to begin with.

There is no choice for us but to start to answer every single one of those GOP lies with the truth
-- accompanied by undeniable proof -- so that even the most gullible would understand it. Right now,
the big thing is the Health Care issue that is being fought over. It's incredible, but the greedy
insurance and pharmaceutical corporations seem to be gaining the upper hand! Too many gullibles
are believing their lies and helping them, oblivious of the fact that they are harming themselves
and our country in the process.

I'm bring up this topic in this forum in the hopes that some members, who have expertise in this
area, would know how to expose the lies and broadcast the truth -- point by point -- to every corner
of this nation.

1. Boycott franchises

One way is to live outside of the corporate money machine. The machine that has inserted its tentacles into communities to vacuum up the excess money and funnel it ever upward (money NEVER trickles down, only up) to the CEO class. Consider the following scenario: you drop your car off at Jiffy Lube and while they are working on it, you go to Great Clips, get a haircut, wander through K-mart and buy some Kellogg's cereal, and stop at Burger King for some lunch. Every time you reached into your wallet to pay, a vulture from corporate took a bite and sent some of the wealth out of your community. If you made it a point to patronize locally owned businesses, at least the money you spend will circulate a little more in your own community.

4. What you suggest is a good idea. Here's an email I just got from
Democrats.com: I hope enough people will read it:

<< FOX News has always been the propaganda arm of the Republican Part y, willing to twist facts and even lie to promote
the Republican agenda.

But the election of President Obama in 2008 pushed FOX News into outright hate-mongering and incitement of violence, which
is intolerable in a democracy.

Tell FOX News advertisers to cancel their ads. (List of advertisers is at bottom of this message).

http://www.democrats.com/boycott-fox-news-advertisers

Here are some examples of intolerable hate speech and incitement to violence:

6/30/09 Glenn Beck agreed with guest who urged bin Laden to attack U.S. with nuclear weapons.

7/25/09 Neil Cavuto and guest said health care reform will impose universal euthanasia like "Soylent Green."

7/28/09 Glenn Beck said "The President has exposed himself as a guy .. who has a deep-seated hatred for white people ... or
the white culture... This man is a racist."

8/6/09 Glenn Beck "joked" about giving Speaker Pelosi a glass of wine with poison.

We join with FoxNewsBoycott and other groups in this boycott, which is already producing outstanding results. In the first
week, 11 advertisers cancelled their FOX ads: Campbell Soup, Chrysler, General Motors, Kellogg, Kraft Foods, Lawyers.com,
Nestle, Pfizer, Proctor & Gamble, Progressive Insurance, and Walmart. Read the latest update from wikoogle.

Thanks for all you do!

2. Elect 435 congresspersons in 2010 that listen to their constituents first, their party second, and
dead last lobbyist for the corporate party.

Keep doing that every two years until We the People control the House and the purse for government.

6. I understand your point but I used 435 to mean a revolution at the ballot-box of all We the People.
