Why is there a different standard for TV vs radio when it comes to racism?
There's a big brou-ha-ha going on now about Don Imus. A couple of years ago, Rush Limbaugh lost his job at ESPN TV for making racist remarks on an NFL show. The same happened to Howard Cosell and Jimmy the Greek a generation ago. But nobody cares what is said on the radio. Limbaugh, Savage, et al continue to spew hate on the radio and there is never an outcry. What's the difference?

3. Different audiences, different advertisers.
Racism is a market force, and people who don't like to racism have to come up to the plate, and be willing to boycott advertisers that cater to racists.
