YES WE CAN
FDR told activists in his own party, "I agree with you, I want to do it, now make me do it."

Sorry Rahm, we aren't going to "fucking shut-up."

President Obama I believe honestly is a good decent man. I believe in order to get the change we want, we are going to have to make him do it. That is why it is important a left flank is opened on the debate and we stop "trusting" Obama. If we want something we have to let him and our democratic congress critters know, not sit back and hope our leader rules like some sort of benevolent dictator.

If we want real Healthcare reform and we want real banking reform or any other kind of reform in this country we are going to have to make him do it.

YES WE CAN

1. and maybe that is what he needs to help him get this done. i mean,
he watched his own mother spend her last days fighting with an insurance company... I have no doubt he wants some profound change that would benefit all of us. But we have to show them that WE want it.... We have to be out there fighting for this more than the people disrupting the meetings. I don't know how we do it, since the media has already picked their storyline for this.... and apparently people supporting healthcare reform are not part of it.
