And I am going to borrow it, if you don't mind. If we just spout out, get the hell off medicare, if you don't want a public option, the comeback is always that they paid the taxes, blah blah blah.

But if we frame it the way you suggested, and asked why wouldn't the private sector do a better job with medicare, and we all know the privatization would drive the prices up, it might make a couple stop and think. Love it.

3. Exactly what a socialist program.....my 95 yr old cousin came to visit today

we laughed and joked at the dumbass Republicans the birthers and tea baggers. He has seen a lot and supports the President black, white, purple, green or orange. His comment is we are all the same color isn't a choice, he is what he is and it doesn't matter. Best hour I spent, I sent him home with whats still growing in my garden.

We came to the conclusion that these people are just dumb as a box of rocks. He was impress that the NK gave Clinton flowers a dinner & sent home the reporters. His take is they want attention...which is what being a diplomat is all about. He said Bill was there as a private citizen & reported home to his President.

6. I've watched my elderly parents go through what must be hundreds of thousands of dollars...

...in benefits.

My dad was hospitalized for about a hundred days, ICU three times.

They've used an ambulance at least ten times in three months, but they're still able to live at home and keep their house.

If anyone had to go though what they've had without a public plan, they'd have long ago had to give in and die.
