I liked it better when republicans were too lazy to care about politics

Where were all these concerns and vehement outrage when Bush sold one lie after another to congress before invading Iraq. Where were all the town hall meetings and protests when Bush signed the patriot act into law. What about the three times Bush told the Supreme Court, that's right the Supreme Court, to go and screw themselves when SCOTUS told Bush that detainees at GITMO could not be held without rights to habeas corpus. These lazy lapdogs sat in their lazy-boy recliners and couldn't care one bit. They didn't even care when Bush raised the rates of their prescription drug meds. Now all of a sudden these people are ready to tear down the fences and storm the gates, literally, if of all things, health care gets needed reform. Just amazing. These fucking bastards couldn't have been the least bit concerned when Bush destroyed, almost page by page, every piece of the constitution and thumbed his nose at congress every step of the way.

Yet many if not all of these people protesting against health care at these town hall meetings also bitched and moaned when gas prices went up. They wanted the government, that's right the government, to step in and force OPEC to produce more oil. That is they had no problem in wanting and demanding that congress act immediately to make an organization of private oil cartels bring the price of oil down per barrel. They in fact thought this was perfectly reasonable for congress to step in and make a private industry function more affordable and to their liking. Well what the fuck do these people think President Obama is doing. He is trying to make the health care industry run more efficiently and be more affordable to everyone. Yet resistance. Of course resistance. Health care costs through the roof, and a for profit health care system that must, in order to make a profit, deny more claims than they honor. Yet to these republicans, nothing wrong here. In fact fuck these people who get sick. Raise the price another few hundred dollars. Just keep my gas prices low. That's all that really matters.

The ironic thing is many of these protesters at these town hall meetings are the same people who will bitch about how expensive their drug medications have gotten and how medicare doesn't cover many of those costs. Yet the man most responsible for this, BUSH JR., passed this legislation without one nary of a peep from these republicans.

Anyway to hell with these people. I am just sick of this shit.
