Poll question: Who uses the term "free speech" to describe the mob tactics that lobbyists are orchestrating?

1. I wanted to put "trolls" on there... but I figured the "other" option
could be used for that.

2. The only free speech RWers ever defend is the hateful crap that comes out of
the mouths of morans like them.

Remember, soldiers have fought and died to defend our freedom of speech, as long as that speech supports the agenda of the right wing.

4. It is free speech as long as it is loud fat FOX morons.
It is a riot if there are black or other non-white participants in the group and they are being peaceful and sane about the demonstration.

Obviously the rioters should be rounded up into "protest zones". They might interfere with the loud fat idiots.

5. You see, this is why I'd like to see the same thing happen to the RW protesters.
They need to live in the police state they seem to want. The other side has done it's time.

6. It's kind of like gun laws.

When the constitution was written, the reign of kings & queens was pretty much normal, and speaking out was a one-way ticket to the dungeon..or worse. Back then gun laws were about muskets & flintlocks..not 50-caliber monsters & AK47s & Uzis.

Our free-speech provision just meant that the "supreme-leader-president-government" could not throw you in jail for speaking out against THEM.

Of course, back then it really meant that anyone in the village could stand up on a box, in the village square, and say stuff . Probably most people wandered by in their normal routine, and paid little attention to them, and their "free speech" reached just the people within earshot.

I don't think the founders ever expected that the human voice would ever reach the amounts of people it does today, or that only "certain" people with access to the media of today, would be able to have EXTRA-SPECIAL (now with lemon-added) speech, and the rest of us would just have a little bit of free speech that could be negated by the others.

9. Aren't they instructed to just drown everyone else out?
That's not free speech by any stretch of the imagination.

Unless... well...
