C-span...HARKING HEARINGS on Autism . . .
Edited on Wed Aug-05-09 03:46 PM by defendandprotect
Harkin points out that most of us did have measles, chicken pox, whooping cough,
mumps . . .

Dr. Thomas Insel was cautioning that if he had to do a study now of the thousands
in one area not having their children vaccinated because of fears of AUTISM, we
would have to also study how many of the children were now "at risk" for these
childhood diseases.

Common sense . . .
Would you prefer your newborn be at risk for AUTISM?
Or the usual childhood diseases . . . maybe?

And Dana Haverson - Biomedical Education for Autism Iowa . . .
points out that those of us who had these childhood diseases also can pass that
immunity over to our children while pregnant -- then vaccinating them for these
diseases may be another question that should be considered.

HARKIN was also trying to across the point -- that newborns are receiving what amoutns
to 29 different vaccines over two years! In 1989 the number was only 8 vaccines.
And, he is trying to stress that there would likely be importantance in those number
changes.

Hope someone else is tuned in --

Halverson also takes exception to Dr. Insel's suggestion that there is "no evidence"
of a connection to vaccines and calls for officials to look at other evidence by
researchers who are "INDEPENDENT" . . .
