Freepers are shouting down Rep Kagen's health care listening sessions
Shouting at Health Care Listening Sessions Sparks Other Debate

Congressman Steve Kagen held another health care listening session Tuesday morning to give people in Appleton more information about the government's health care reform plan.

In many ways it was similar to a forum Kagen held Monday night at the Brown County Library, where members of the audience shouted down any efforts to discuss health care.

===

Sidney Vineburg, who was at the Green Bay listening session, said, "This is about disrupting health care meetings all over the country so the people who really want to understand the bill don't have the opportunity."

The Democratic Party of Brown County issued a statement Tuesday: "This fringe group of radicals is using tactics to shut out debate on the health care bill. Their main focus is to garner negative media attention for themselves and try to intimidate Democrats, independents, and Republicans from having a legitimate debate on the merits of health care reform."

For those of you who don't know, Congressman Steve Kagen is a physician who ran on a strong health care platform. He is very adamant about it.

7. Exactly!
Have some security at these meetings if they know there is a chance it will be disrupted. If people start shouting, kindly tell them to be respectful. If they continue their behavior, have security escort them out the door. If they become belligerent with security, call the police and have them arrested. Simple enough plan to deal with these idiots.

8. Don't tase me bro!
The video did show police at the meeting, but I'm guessing they don't want to make it look like it's a police state.

9. Call the frickin' police. Is this not disorderly conduct.
Or is that only when you shout at them?

10. All Democrats need to attend all of these meetings of their
own members of Congress. We need to support our Congress representatives by showing up. No excuses.

13. freepers - in general are poorer, less educated than DUers
we want health care for all citizens because we care about other people. I am personally very well off - in the top 1% economically. I could turn my back on the less fortunate. I choose not too, because i care about others.

Freepers are wretched whiners who will be the first to cry foul when they get fired from their corporate masters and suddenly find they are not covered by any healthcare plan. But they have no empathy, and little intellect to comprehend this. Fuck them.

Hopefully Healthcare will pass and an entire generation of citizens will see the gop for the traitors and filth that they are.
