Edited on Mon Aug-03-09 04:15 PM by ColbertWatcher
If the person(s) behind "Shirley" is ever revealed, what should happen?

Should "Shirley" be rewarded? A day named in "her" honor?

What if "Shirley" cashed the check? Should "she" be punished?

What if "Shirley" were merely paid to create a fake birth certificate, instead of perpetrating the greatest RL troll evah?

What do you think DU, if "Shirley" ever identifies her/his/themselves, how should the world react?

12. Actually I never watched the show, but like most people I know the opening song pretty well.
So I assume she worked in a brewery throughout the series. :)

15. The last season or two they left the brewery and moved to California
Something I learned when looking up Lenny & Squiggy the other day.

For the sixth season in 1980, the current cast moved from Milwaukee to Burbank, California, with the catalyst behind the move as the girls losing their bottlecapping jobs to new automation installed at Shotz Brewery, and want to start fresh. Their friends and family are inspired by the idea and also pack up to move out west.

Laverne and Shirley took jobs as gift-wrappers at Bardwell's Department Store, Frank and Edna managed a Texas BBQ restaurant called "Cowboy Bill's", and Carmine delivered singing telegrams and sought work as an actor.
