MSNBC: Woman suing to get college tuition back, because she hasn't gotten a job.
Does this mean she would also have to give back her degree?

12. Yup. She'd sue them because the job wasn't as much fun as she thought it would be.

2. Wotta maroon
I've always been told that nobody has a God-given right to a job - you have to go out there and hunt it down, and once you've got it, hold on to it for dear life unless it starts to ruin your health, your family, etc.

3. There's been a real bloodbath at major law firms over the past year
as the bottom has dropped out of the real estate market and out of a lot of their work.

It looks like idle hands are turning to any frivolous lawsuit they can find.

Unless the college recruitment focused on specific job training and guaranteed placement, this gal doesn't have a case that will get past a preliminary hearing. Even if it's true, she won't get far in front of any real judge.

6. Yep, there are a lot of variables involved in getting a job.
She may be sorely lacking in all but the degree. Who knows, but no college could be held responsible for her lack of a job! IMHO at least.

13. If she's got it in writing somewhere that she was guaranteed a job, she's got a case.
Otherwise, she's just looking for 15 minutes of fame and an easy buck.

14. I'm working for an hourly wage

I went to high school … didn’t do great,
Still I gotta make more cash,
More education is what I’m lookin at.

When I get-ta degree,

I will make a bigger salary
So, now I’ve got to see,
Which, college is right for me,

I went on the internet and
found education co nnection,
I took some free tests,
to find out my direction.

I’m taking my classes online,
gettin’ my degree on my own time,
Education Connection matched me with the right college for FREE.
