Did anyone see 20/20 last Friday night?
The last segment was a damning look at Canadian and UK healthcare. It showed people lining up in order to get dental care. It showed a lottery in one Canadian town where three "lucky" people would be seen by a doctor. It was about 10 minutes long, but it was a terrible look into their healthcare systems. How do we find out if this was "real" or just isolated incidents? It was pretty bad.

1. Probably like anything the truth falls somewhere in the middle.

I have numerous friends and co-workers who live in Canada and HATE their health care system. I also correspond with a great many Canadians on various boards who have no problems with it what-so-ever.

I am continuing to try to ferret out facts vs. anecdotes in an attempt to figure out what makes sense to ME. I do know we need some kind of health care reform.

6. Ask Canadians who hates their system if they'd trade it for ours.

It may have some faults but it beats the pants off of our access-at-the-whim-of-insurers system.

9. Who are you?
Listen, I don't believe a word of your CRAP.

You have, and I quote, "numerous friends and co-workers who live in Canada and HATE their health care system"??

WHY do they HATE their health care system? This is a concept I've never encountered here in Canada.

We get on our knees and THANK GOD we don't a have the American system.

Tell one of your "friends" to get in contact with me. I'd like to see one of these people myself.

PM me with details. Thanks.

2. There are millions of people in this country that wish they could stand in a line...
and get dental care. We are the one of the worst nations in the world for dental care, on a par with many Third World countries.

7. and why do they show this? Nobody is asking for a state run universal health plan
and getting rid of the insurance companies. This is just a bit of the media trying to scare people to do the bidding of their corporate masters.

who was trying to character-assassinate Clinton and remove him from office.

We all need to create our own Who's Who.

Combine Stoessel with ABC and ABC with their corporate owners of ABC and you have your answer.

ABC is not bringing us news, they are bringing us propaganda.

The players and foundations and media outlets of what I learned about the character assassination and impeachment of Clinton derived from Iran-Contra, Watergate and probably all the assissinations of leaders since 1963. Then, forward to the theft of our votes, 0-11, the thieving of our monetary structure.

They have vast batallions of propagandists and guest experts and bimbos like Stoessel.

Which Watergate character got on tv and talked about the morality of Clinton? Liddy - who evolved into a birther?

Which Iran-Contra character got on tv to demean Clinton - North?

It goes on - never ending, always being recycled.

Batallions - it's necessary to see through the crap in tv, c-span, congress, everything.

13. You can get 8 people together to say toenail clippings are a great substitute for coconut in baking

- and in a way, I suppose that 20/20 was basically doing the same thing.
