I want more people to be offensive!

I want controversy. I want people to say what’s on their puny little minds with little regard to the consequences, don’t make stuff up though, tell everyone what you really feel. I want those offended by what people say to complain, scream and yell about it and I want more people to be offended by those people being offended, and for this cycle to continue indefinitely.

I want web sites whose only topics are different things people are offended by, and let everyone type their little fingers off about it all until each of them get carpal tunnel and then complain about that.

I want there to be television and radio shows dedicated to this subject and start-up cable channels with 24 hour coverage including shout fests and crying jags. No words are censored, no one gets to apologize and things can be settled in a steel cage match to the death.

Why? I am entertained by offensive ignorance and entertained by those who are offended even more. I want to know who the assholes are, so let them talk. Better yet, wear a placard listing all the people, religions, races, nationalities etc you hate so that I don’t even have to engage you in conversation to find out. Saves a lot of time that way.

Maybe then we can get it all out of our system, get rid of the assholes and start dealing with some more pressing issues like real equality and justice, hunger, disease and war, you know, life and death type stuff.
