imo - Most innovative approach for MSNBC- Give the Rutger's team and their invited
Edited on Tue Apr-10-07 01:35 PM by blm
guests the opportunity to spend the next two weeks sitting in WITH Imus and his team with open mics to chime in to the discussions with THEIR unfettered points of view on every topic that comes up.

I think this type of corrective and educational therapy would be good for everyone involved, including the audience.

Just my 2cents.

4. Now that I'd tune in to.
I can't stand the sight or sound of Imus.

8. I say let WOMEN take over the time slot and give
women of all colors an opportunity to contribute to the media for a change.

It could be fantastic to see how Imus and the "good ole boys" get angry to see WOMEN interviewing the guys from Newsweek and Andrea the shill Mitchell etc.

It should definitely be a African American woman filling in for IMUS.

They could start with the dynamic coach of the Rudgers team!!!
She is fantastic!

15. I dunno, at this time, they really don't have time for it.
Methinks they are too busy studying for final exams; or they would have been if Imus and McGurk didn't open their big fat pig mouths first.

16. Now THAT would be great! I LOVE that idea.
It would probably change a lot of hearts, too.

2. A pre-vetted panel of the Rutgers BBallers, Jews, gays, African-Americans,
women, ex- Imus Ranch workers, those who remember his wretched Top 40 weekend syndie, etc.--can we rent out the Superdome?

3. I don't think the team would like the attention.
That's not their thing.

9. They might not.
But I kind of like the idea of giving them the option. It might be that their coach would be willing to take the opportunity. She had a lot to say, both on the specific issue at hand, and about many of the related issues involving racism, sexism, and hatred in our society.

13. Now that the season is over, you're right...the coach, Ms. Stringer,
may want to do this. She did say at the news conference that no matter what you look like, those words should not be said. I'd like to hear more from her. Good point! In the meantime, the ladies have classes to attend and don't have time for it.

10. You guys better be careful

Don't forget MSNBC is the one who put Mike Savage on air. If a spot opens up, don't think it's going to be Malloy or someone like that. I'd be weary they'd get Ann Coulter.

They already have their token Liberal (Olberman)...you're not getting a 2nd one.

14. Actually, he should participate in their practice - as the basketball.
When they are done, they can throw him to the football team for their spring practice - if there is anything left.
