Mother ditched Cell Phone before Taconic Pky Crash that killed 8

As the family mourned, cops said Diane Schuler's cell phone was found discarded near the Tappan Zee Bridge. Diane Schuler apparently dumped the phone at a roadside pull-off minutes before driving the wrong way on the parkway.

Schuler called Hance to say she was feeling ill, possibly from the same area right after the toll plaza on Interstate 87.

He told her to pull over and even called cops, but she did not heed the advice and kept on driving. A few miles away, she turned onto the northbound lanes of the Taconic and started driving southbound. An autopsy revealed no obvious medical explanation for the crash.

They will also test for heightened blood sugar levels that could have caused a blackout. Cops say they do not believe the West Babylon mom committed suicide.

The phone was picked up by a passing motorist and turned into cops later in the day. Investigators plan to examine the phone to see if Schuler, 36, called anyone else in the minutes before the fatal crash, the worst on Westchester County roads in 75 years.

2. Was she taking SSRI presciption meds?

I swear, these drugs are causing some strange ass behaviors.

3. Yes they are know to cause bizarre behavior . Problem is, the SSRI victim believes they are acting

normal as ever.
SSRI's can numb the emotional reasoning of a person to the point where one would stand in the path of a tornado watching it head straight for them and simply say, "Hey, there's a tornado"...while not reacting to the danger..
This is the result of too great a dosage.

But it can be a fine line with these meds, as to dosage, also.
I know many docs must play with the dosage to get the right mix..however it is in that time that things go weird..and some docs, as in my case about 10 yrs ago, that a doc just writes the script & says "see ya in 60 days."
To this day I don't know why she wrote the script for 100mg twice a day, when I had been on 50 mgs a day for a year & was doing fine following a episode with clinical depression.
To this day I have never had an answer.
I could write a best seller as to the result of her scripting change.

Who knows why this women entered the freeway in the wrong direction.
But the tragedy is stark enough, sadder without having at least some explanation.

Something undid this woman..or maybe she was just saying 'goodbye'.
