1. Incredibly, they can *always* get dumber.

I too used to think "Now they've hit bottom" and "Now they've hit bottom". But no. It's become clear that there is no limit to wingnut stupidity, no depth whatever to which they will not sink. This will go on forever, or whenever we stop paying attention to them, whichever comes first.
