When did 24 become a comedy?
It is the velveeta cheese of cheesy....with gratuitous violence and torture thrown in for good measure. Now it's truly a Fox product.

12. Seems like that at first. But then you realize it just goes in circles.
Only the presidents change. It's blaring in the other room every Monday. Took a try at watching it. Oh, so predictable. Action TV for those who like a rut. Havocdad uses it to lull himself to sleep.

Sutherland must get paid by the yell.

4. I could never get into it.
The one season I watched for a while, the first I think, was a little too gimmicky with its, "the cute white girls almost gets raped in every episode!" routine.

6. I enjoy it.
I got into it last season. There's something BAD ASS COOL about Keifer Sutherland.

7. Now it seems as if they're shifting gears to an entirely different show. (Spoiler)
kill terrorists? Check.
Secure the bombs? Check.

Aw, shit...we still have 10 episodes to go. Bring out the Chinese again!

10. We still have the VP to deal with and it sounds like the Chinese may be
in on the bomb plot as well based on the demands of one character during the previews.

Personally, depending on how the rest of the season develops I wouldn't be surprised to see the government/military involved in the orginal bombing plot.

9. Middle of the second season.
It should have ended after season one and gone out on a really high note.

11. I watched the first season.
I started watching the second but for some reason it didn't hold my interest. I haven't seen it since.

13. I got sucked in during the first season.
IMHO, it's gone downhill from there, and I don't even bother watching anymore.

14. Not so much comedy as parody
Edited on Mon Apr-09-07 09:59 PM by ToeBot
And it's always been a gross exaggeration, right down to its foundation. If you strip out the commercials you're left with about 18 hours. Take out the useless plot twists and interpersonal pathos, (ya know, the Padding) you're left with 10 hours. Now they couldn't very well have a full season show called "10", and the names been used before anyway. But I still like the show, after the season is over its a good way to kill a weekend, downloading and watching.
