Blue Dogs Cash In

With the health care debate raging, the clout of the rightwing Democratic coalition of Blue Dogs has grown, and so has their fundraising. A report by the Center for Public Integrity finds that in the first half of this year their PAC raised over $1.1 million – more than in all of 2004 – with energy, financial and health care industries accounting for over half the money.

1. I'm beginning to think this was never about Health Care Reform

It was and is an elaborate scheme for all our elected officials to extort just a little more money out of the insurance cartel. This was never about me and you and reform - it was about a payday for our corrupt politicians. Its not just the Blue Dogs its every last one of them. We see D's and R's - they just see dollar signs.

Boy are we fools.
