Just so we are all clear on the subject of health care
American private health insurance is the best health care system in the world. But if it was forced to compete against a public, government ran, inferior health care system the private system would become bankrupt because the superior system cannot compete against an inferior system.

-FYI: If you are injured when attempting to follow the logic of the above system your private health insurance providers will not cover the health care cost you procur when recovering for said injuries, good day.

1. To tag on to your point:
I thought the government couldn't do anything right? So what possible threat could a public option pose to the insurance companies?

2. Your first sentence-best for whom?
Not for anyone with pre-existing conditions. Not for anyone who can't afford it. Not for anyone who gets diagnosed with an ailment that would require expensive treatments.

It may be best as long as one stays healthy.

7. It's also pretty solid if you have unlimited resources.
I have little doubt that the uber-rich in America enjoy the best health care on the globe.

8. What's in those brownies your eating? Nom, Nom, Nom!
American private health insurance is the best health care system in the world.

If I'm not mistaken, we have the most expensive system in the world and rank 37th overall with other 1st world nations.

In addition, we are paying insurance companies to kill us. Doesn't qualify as best in my book.

10. Well, after all, if you can't follow the argument's logic, that is a preexisting condition.
In fact, it is a condition you have had since birth: you were born with a brain. ;-)

15. That's a term I'd use...
This is societal pathology behavior. I wonder how many of them were lobbying for the industry when they weren't lining their coffers. Keep moving along, nothing to see here about what they have for health insurance. What are we supposed to do here? Just work hard and keep asking whilst we use the most expensive non-system of showing up in the ER if it gets too bad? Please, by all means, continue to piss all over us.

Can we have more soup?
