What I want is for you upper 1% to stop being greedy fucking bastards making life harder and harder and harder for the other 99% of us.

You elite in this country went too far and now the other 97-99% of America is about to whip out the pitch forks and torches. It's personal responsibility time sweetheart. You lied and stole. You put the Enrons and AIG's and Worldcoms and Bernie Madoffs in charge of making all the decisions about whether or not you uphold your end of the social contract.

We agreed to work our asses off for our whole lives to basically end up with nothing. We all spend every dime we will ever earn in our lifetimes on your shitty suburban developments and lung choking cars and cheap Chinese crap. You'll get back every single penny you will ever pay us. In return you promised to make sure all our kids had access to a decent education, that those of us willing to show up at work regularly will have some sort of decent roof over our heads, food in our bellies, and access to a doctor when the crappy food and water you give us makes our bodies revolt.

We kept our deal. You didn't. You bitched and whined and threw your little temper tantrums until you managed to get legally excused from your end of the bargain. Well I'll tell you something. It doesn't bother me one iota if you have $500 Billion and my lifetime savings don't even amount to enough to get me a decent burial. But if you look me in the face and tell me it's MY fault I can't afford to get a root canal instead of losing another tooth. Well sir - you can go fuck yourself with the pen President Barack Obama uses to sign universal single payer government medical care into law.

Ive been gone for a few days.

Did hell freeze over in my absence?

BTW, you really ought to want all that good stuff (health care, public schools, etc).

3. I have faith.
I would much prefer every parent of every kid have the means and access to send their children to ANY school, not just the one the government mandates the child must attend. I would love an America with limitless choices.

That is not the case. It was never the case. Thanks to unions we got a little better of a fair shake for a short while, but that was predetermined not to last. The elite gamed the system until what little teeny crumbs we had were taken from us. "grab a bootstrap and drag your lazy ass to college" they said. So huge amounts of people did. And what did the elite do? They gamed more to force the wages and job security of college graduates down even below the level of what blue collar workers once had.

I know it's predetermined that I lose and they win. But if I'm going down, I'm going to go down with a pound of their flesh in my hands.

2. The problem is at the end of your second paragraph...
They don't believe in the social contract. For them it's just the law of the jungle.

You're right, though. It's high time for some action.

11. I guess they think they exist in a vacuum? Guess they think they got rich all by their lonesome?
I really can't tolerate the greedy rich bastards in this Country, any longer. I've had enough of their greed, at the expense of those who are hard working and/or less fortunate then they are. I wonder how they can look themselves in the mirror and how they can sleep at night. Shameful.

14. I read your subject line too fast, and it looked at first like
"Guess they think they got rich all by their loathesome"--and I thought, that's exactly how they got rich! LOL

10. Want them as plan B only
I don't like that kids are forced to attend a certain school only because of where they live. We are stuck with a system where every single public school has to try to be all things to all kids. That's asking for less the stellar results IMHO. The elite are always bitching "you want government to run your healthcare? Look what they did to your schools!" Well if the greedy elite wanted us to have a better system of education they could have created it. Instead THEY gave us this.

In my fantasy ideal world, families have the mean and access to send each child to the school that will work with parents to develop the absolute best of whatever interests and talents god/nature saw fit to put into each unique child. Wide open choices. But that can't happen, because the uber elite decides shitty schools and shitty house and no transportation to get the hell out would be the price for not getting lucky enough to be born with blue blood.
