I posted about Fox "news military expert" Ralph Peters describing the Taliban-held soldier as a "deserter" and he suggested that the Taliban just kill him.

Well, it looks like the soldier's family's lawyer sent Peters a letter.

1. I tried -

even listened to O'Lielly blather about what it means to be a solider (as if he knew), but when that asswipe Peters started to talk, I just couldn't go on.

Of course he's a Faux "expert."

2. That appearance of Roberts yesterday and the one today are so pathetic.

What is inferred is a lynching. No facts. Assumption of guilt.

I want to scream - the military is responsible for that kid. It is not their right to crucify his character with assumed guilt.

This country pays a fortune to track and find awol guys or girls so they can bring them to justice. This guy wants to skip a step based on an assumption of guilt.

The government owes that kid a chance to be protected.

There was so much bs coming from that mouth.

What a disgrace to our soldiers and their families.

I hope Roberts is dismissed, but instead they are spreading him around - same message with one sentence phrased a little more carefully.
