I don't have a donor star...
and sometimes it makes for funny transpositions of posts and ads...like today when GreyWarrior posted the duct-taped duck wearing a black hood and electrodes. The accompanying ad read "Don't ever pay for electricity. You can make it cheap & simple at home!" See-sometimes the ads can ENHANCE your DU experience...

2. Well-that has appearently changed in the last ten minutes...
and a big thank you to the anonymous contributor. I did miss not being able to post to my favorite groups. But that posting with that ad was the funniest thing I've seen this week. All that was missing was a field phone generator with a hand crank...I love this board and the people here.

4. I thought the OP was pretty simple.
Non-donors can't turn off the ads.

The image in a post and the accompanying Google ad had an odd sort of relation.

Two of you already donated and that wasn't the intent....I vow and promise to donate stars to at least two other people this year. This is a great and fun site. I only mentioned it for the funny factor...
