"Most if not all of the veterans know full well that any PTSD claim will disqualify them from firearm ownership for LIFE. I am sure that many are avid sportsmen/hunters/shooters and would like to retain their birth right and not lose their second amendment RIGHT!!! They in turn will try and cope themselves, and who is to blame for that`? The system in place is the reason they will not seek treatment ANYWHERE, private or government mental health. All one has to do is look at the rate of homeless veterans from the Iraq, and Afganistan wars, as it tells a tragic tale."
