I just called Stephanie Miller about what Bay Buchanan said this morning on MSNBC
did anyone hear? I was the last caller and they cut the phone off so I didn't hear the response.

I told them how she confirmed republicans are the party that defends the rights of white americans.

1. Yes, I heard your question! Dang, missed the response tho.
Will check the podcast once it's posted! Wow, guess that whole Buchanan family goes by the motto "the family that hates together, stays together."

Congrats for getting through!

2. She's just parroting what her brother said on Rachel Maddow
last night. He showed his true colors big time last night. He basically said that white men should be the majority on the SCOTUS because our Constitution was written by white men and this was created as a contry for white men by white men.

4. I know- I couldn't believe what he said last night, then to hear sis say the same this morning...
...blew me away. They don't even bother to hide the racism anymore.

6. Why should they?
They know who their audience is? Think about it. It's all been about race since the election - everything, because they know the racists will never desert the republican party. They may have lost a bunch of people, but there are plenty out there whose racism has been growing stronger since Obama got elected and they are being fueled by the likes of Buchanan, Hannity, Limbaugh, and Beck. Race is at the core of most of their arguments these days.

5. Do you know if they talked earlier about what Pat said on Rachel's show
I only get to hear the last 20 minutes of Stephanie Miller's show most days so I miss most of it.

8. OK, podcast is up. Here's my rough transcript of your call.
Stephanie, John Fuglesang and Chris seemed blown away by the comment. (Apparently, the show was one Mook down today--No Jim).

Lisa in LA: Hey, I just want to make sure you know about Bay Buchanan, was just on MSNBC confirming that the Republican party is the party of white people.

Stephanie: Oh, good.

Fuglesang: Really?

Lisa in LA: She was discussing Sotomayor's record of defending the rights of minorities and women all through her career and the Republican party does not stand for that. We stand for the rights of white people. She literally said that.

Stephanie: Wow! Wake up, white people!

Fuglesang: What's up with the Buchanans this week? Oh my god...

Stephanie: Wow! Whooo!

Fuglesang: They should be arrested for exposing themselves.

10. I heard an interview with Pat Buchanan once
where he said that his beliefs were shaped by his fathers rants at the dinner table every night. That would explain why his sister holds duplicate beliefs. Same with Limbaugh, basically repeats what his dad ranted about every night during dinner.
