We've had it on one of the monitors at GRC in our control room all day. It was good to come home and see it was a go.

I'm on the left coast and we've got thunderstorms in the way. I just DLed a widget to keep an eye out for shuttle launches and was on the ball for once, but the weather didn't cooperate. :(

5. I had a guy from NASA on one of my flights..

a couple of weeks ago.. and he said from "my crew to yours" and he gave me some coins about the shuttle and his traveling partner said that they will mail me items about the shuttle because my oldest son is the biggest space freak lately.. just a nice story about thsi crew :)

So on a per capita basis, that's like having 20 Americans in space at the same time!
