We would have heard more about Jeff Sessions racist past and seen a comparison of Judge Sotomajor's Supreme Court record with that of Roberts and Alito before they rose to be on the court itself. Instead, Jeff Sessions is allowed to characterize her record without ever revealing his.

We would see nightly interviews around Cheney's death squad that Sy Hersh mentioned in MARCH. Skeptical nay sayers would be revisited, officials questioned and lawmakers confronted. Just who was in control of this program? Instead, we hear silence on this two-day old story.

The health care debate would be framed by the current horror stories of denied care and coverage, like former military who cannot get supplemental care, or women like Lisa DeWaal who works a second part-time Starbucks job to get health care. Instead, the argument is framed by the insurers.

Repeated outbursts from Pro-lifers at the Sotomajor hearings would lead to an investigation of the desperation of Randall Terry to make himself relevant with this stunt and the connections of his right-wing movement to domestic terrorism. Instead, the outbursts are noted and then ignored.

Revelations about "The Family" from the recent sex scandals would lead to wider exposes of secret societies and organizations influencing ALL of our lawmakers. Instead, teh only place you'll find it is with Rachel Maddow.

If we ACTUALLY had a LIBERAL media the world would look a LOT different today.
