being on the Humane Society team that went, along with law enforcement, armed, to the dens of evil and rescued those 100s of dogs from fates worse than death. Can you imagine being able to walk into those hell holes and say to the things calling themselves humans beings "you m----- f-----s are under arrest and taking those dogs into loving arms (speaking metophorically maybe)and carrying them to a safe place where they will never be hurt again. The perfect job!

1. Except for having to witness the conditions the dogs
are kept in and having to deal with dogs that have been bred and trained to fight, often with years of abuse.

I think it would break my heart, not to mention be dangerous as hell.

2. The Humane Society sent out two accounts on the actions.
And the people said the dogs just acted like all they wanted was a little companionship. I'm sure it was dangerous but one of the people said it was so full filling to be able to take those dogs to a safe emergency shelter and know they would be ok now.

3. I can only imagine the soul-satisfaction that comes from doing that work

I've worked at animal shelters before and know, even with my own dog, how it feels to be able to offer safety, comfort and kindness to an abused dog. There's little to compare with it.

ETA: There's a special place in heaven for animal rescue workers.

4. If we could convince everyone who can to give to the society
for this work, even if it is only a dollar each, we could put a stop to this horrible blood sport.
