Why doesn't Cheney ask for the details of this "program' to be released?

Why doesn't Cheney ask for the details of this "program' to be released?
It was just a few weeks ago that he was all over the TV requesting that some secret memos be released that would show that torture worked? You could not turn on the TV without seeing his sneering mug.

But now, he has disappeared. He is not asking that the details of this secret program be released to the public? Why not? Did it not help in the war on terror? Why not, Dick?

1. Lil' Liz was supposed to have been on Morning Blow this morning
I missed it but I'm not real sad about it. I'm sure she said pretty much the same thing she said to some other news entity yesterday: "The Dems are weak on Defense! Also."

I hope the details DO come out but I have little doubt it will be in spite of Cheney rather than anything else.
