If the Congress was not informed of the spying program maybe we should assume that Congress was being spied on. The least complicated answer is often correct; "Pluralitas non est ponenda sine neccesitate"
11. Shadow interests knew 9/11 was around the corner, that's when/why they wanted it: to keep tabs on...
...the climate of opinion re their crimes and subsequent cover up, which was weak...and they knew many would be all over it immediately. And also they'd want it to keep track of anti-war peeps organizing.
Particularly when there are alternate and equally simple explanations. Such as the one about "We didn't want to tell Congress because they are a bunch of blabbermouths."
Now that's not a good excuse/explanation, but it is equally simple and logical.
What gets me is that in the face of all this damming evidence is how dismissive some folk (shrinking minority) are to any question raised about those horrid events
Why would someone not want a thorough investigation against the crime of the century?
19. Those types are terrified of where that reality would leave them: Responsible
Much easier in the short haul to keep denying and pretending so that truth doesn't interfere w/what they're accustomed to ... which is all too human, but eventually a lot of really bad things come out of that degree of mass denial.
that Congress is "up in arms" about a lying, rogue agency lying to them, when they made nary a peep when Bush/Cheney lied us into a war in Iraq! I'm so disgusted by all politicians.
