Something ironic here, not just silly
It's obviously a bit silly to give Jesus the credit for deciding where auto plants are built, but it's a bit heavier on the chutzpah when you are thanking him for the actions of a company which is almost certainly run by many more atheists than Christians, and about as many Buddhists as the latter.

5. If so they haven't thought it through
If their idea is everything is down to Jesus because he controls things this relatively mundane then:

a) they are completely buggering up the rather important theological point of free will

b) they must also believe him to be personally responsible for plant closures too, and if so he's a bit more harmful than helpful on balance over recent decades.
