Mass. has a HAZMAT event at a cranberry bog

http://hisz.rsoe.hu/alertmap/index.php?smp=&lang=eng

Area: USA, State of Massachusetts, , Yarmouth

Eight Yarmouth firefighters were hospitalized after a Level 3 hazardous materials incident at a cranberry bog Friday about noon. The fire department was releasing few details about the nature of the incident on Nob Hill Road, except to say it involved fertilizer. Along with the eight who were sent to Cape Cod Hospital, another 23 had to be decontaminated. No names and no cause were immediately released.

around with the fertilizer. Fertilizer is dangerous as all hell, especially the chemical stuff.

P.S Firefighters=Fire Fire+fertilizer=Toxic fumes, thats probably what they were taken to the hospital for.

2. Maybe that's the reason they are only tolerable with eight cups of sugar poured on them.
Seriously, that sounds scary.

Fertilizer is potent stuff--remember Oklahoma city.

3. Hmm, not much detail is there?
Thanks for link to interesting (and unsettling site). There is something in Tucson area, but when I click on it I get a fatal error notice. Hey, I have family there! Now I am concerned.
