So, we had the Terrorists Surveillance Program and we had the President's Surveillance Program

From what we can piece together the Terrorism Surveillance Program spied on any foreign national we were interested in and possibly most of the people in the United States - pretty inclusive list. Now we discover that there as also the President's Surveillance Program, who on earth could that one have spied on that was not included in the larger program? Let me take a guess. How about the Congress and every group and organization hostile to the President's Administration?

There is a lot more here. Please don't let this slip off the table like ever other assault on our Constitution in near a decade.

1. Why is there so much secrecy about the president's

surveillance plan? That raises my suspicions that it had to do with targeted domestic spying possibly on independent-thinking people and political opponents. Could it have been spying on news media and members of congress? I'm just speculating.

The details need to be revealed because, once again, our imaginings may be worse than the truth. Then again, with the Bush crowd, again and again, the truth has been worse than my worst imaginings.
