My faith in humanity restored and/or pay it forward works

If you remember, yesterday I gave my neighbor kid a book...it was no big deal and just something I wanted to do...my heart just felt like it

today, these two women came on powerscooters...bought a BUNCH of stuff and we just kept stuffing things in their bags hanging off their wheel chair thingys we settled up and they left


one woman came back and I was worried that maybe one of the glass things broke and she would want her money back.

NOPE...

she came back because I forgot to charge her for one of the things she bought just a 3 dollar thing.


I told her thank you for being so awesome and she just smiled and said "honey it was the right thing to do"

I am sure it was hard to ride all over town in that power scooter and it was hot and humid today


I feel sometimes the world is getting so cruel and then things like this happen!!!!

2. I love the concept of pay it forward. Over the years, when I was a single

parent raising 4 kids, a lot of people helped me out in a lot of ways. I'll never be able to pay these people back for the help they gave me, but now I think of them every time I have an opportunity to pay it forward.

often times we do things and never realize how it affects our lives or others

those ladies were really cool. At first I felt sorry for them being in a powerscooter but they are strong and witty...


one lady bought one of those christmas reindeers with the head that moves up and down...I asked her if I could drive it to her house and she said "oh honey no, I just live around a few blocks and I will be fine" so she had me cradle it over the back of her power scooter and off she went...
