What's with all the meta-threads about the rules of the discussion board?

How long until we have so many threads about why there are so many meta-threads that we start having meta-meta-meta-threads?

Your OP was almost self referential. Its like a post that says:

what I can't stand is all the posts with the same content as this one, and also talking about this post, just like I talked about that post

So the next post both talks about this one, AND refers to some post that will talk about it, which also talks about that one in an infinite loop of metas?

Time to take a break from DU.... I'm getting dizzy.
