Hey Skinner...about the rec/unrec thingy
Why not just give everyone a random number of rec's/unrec's per week or per month?
That way, they wouldn't potentially be used indiscriminately.
Kind of like the post limits during the primaries.

Just a thought.

Then people will use their recs/unrecs more judiciously.


Similar to the scoring system on slashdot.org, which works VERY well.

I'd still rather see complete dismantling of the recommend system, but this could be an effective measure.

6. Well any random number that they happen to pull out of their ass
50 per week, 50 per month, 3 per day...whatever would be deemed fair.
